Repairs cost parts, labor, and tips--nothing else.
Parts: The cost of any parts we use to repair your device.
Labor: $40/hr. This rate may be more or less depending on the complexity of the repair. (We'll tell you beforehand.)
Tips: Completely optional! They really help us a lot, though
If you're interested in a repair, bring your device in and we'll evaluate it, completely free of charge. We'll tell you the projected cost upfront, so you have a good idea how much the repair will cost and can make an informed decision.
We offer a price-matching guarantee against any brick-and-mortar repair shop in Berkeley, but frankly our prices are so outstanding that no one's ever used our price-matching guarantee!

When performing a repair, we'll tell you the price model of every single replacement part we use, so you know exactly what's going in your device. We always use the best, highest-quality parts available:
Genuine parts straight from the device's original manufacturer
Brand-new, high-quality batteries (OEM or iFixit)
Honeywell PTM7950, a thermal paste that provides outstanding performance for the entire lifetime of the device
Windows 10/11 IoT Enterprise LTSC, a fully-featured, low-bloat version of Windows supported until at least 2032
All the other top-quality parts used in our Standard and Flagship Tuneups!

For nearly all repairs, we can complete them on the same day you bring them in! (Of course, we'll let you know beforehand if we can't complete a repair by the end of the day.)
It gets even better, though! If you're bringing us a desktop or laptop to repair, we can provide you with a loaner device to use while we repair your computer, free of charge!
